Our Filler Injection Technique
Prior to your injection procedure, Dr. Saurer will consult with you to learn more about your cosmetic goals and decide what product may best produce them. When it’s time for your injections, Dr. Saurer will use topical numbing cream to help you stay comfortable during your treatment. The selected amount of formula will be slowly injected through a very fine needle. Depending on the desired outcome, either half or an entire syringe could be used. There may be some bruising and swelling immediately after, but these symptoms will dissipate within a few days. Typical results can last from a few months to a full year based on the type of filler used and the area of injection. Our team will let you know how often we recommend having periodic touch-up treatments to optimize your results.
