We are excited to announce that The Lucy Hobbs Project is coming to Dublin on February 7th! The Opioid Crisis is real but with education and prevention practices we can help save lives. This evening will offer something for every member of your dental practice and is completely free.
CELEBRATE AND LEARN: The evening will offer educational speakers, free 1.5 CE credits, local awards, and dinner from Fado Pub & Kitchen. An e-ticket is required, register for one today.
NOMINATE: The support team surrounding a dentist is critical for creating success in their practice. We will honor 15 local support specialists at this event. This is a wonderful way to celebrate your long time employee, the team player, the best dental rep, or the phenomenal insurance guru. Anyone can be nominated, other than your Dentist. 🙂 Nominate someone that stands out to you before January 24, 2019.
GIVEBACK: “A voice for Sean” Speaker and activist Dr. Sharon Parsons founded this nonprofit for opioid addiction education and advocacy after the loss of her adult son, Sean, to an opioid overdose. To support this important endeavor, raffle tickets will be sold at the event for a chance to win wonderful prizes. Bring cash: tickets will be $10 for 15 tickets or $20 for an arm length!
Dr. Saurer and her Hygienist, Missy, were invited to discuss their dental careers and oral health at Bailey Elementary in Dublin. The children enjoyed looking at a panoramic x-ray, real teeth, and even tried out excellent brushing techniques on our puppet alligator.
Childhood memories include the smell of playdoh, playing outside, and your favorite meals. Dr. Saurer grew up in the Canton/Akron area and has fond memories of Swenson’s hamburgs! Today she and her family were invited to the VIP opening of Swenson’s in Dublin. It wasn’t a dream, the food is just as good as she remembered. The Saurer party of 5 approves it’s arrival and recommends you take some time to sit in your car and enjoy the fries.
October is Breast Cancer awareness month and our community #atbridgepark has decided to come together to do just that. Our friend, Dave Mirgon, co-owner of Brick House Blue was selected as one of the Real Men Wear Pink. With the help of Crawford Hoying, the businesses and residents of Bridge Park made a commitment to PINK OUT their logos, offices, and social media. Tonight our team and many residents attended a pink happy hour at Fado. Contributions were made to Dave’s campaign and we are elated to report that he finished 1st place in Columbus and 5th in the nation! Read about why this is important to him (and us) here: WE did it!
Watch our cute little Hulk man smash cancer and dance moves.
Our team was invited to join Flourish Chiropractic to celebrate community at their first annual Back to School Bash! This event was free and full of fun for all ages. Dr. Saurer and Ellen taught the little ones all about how fun it is to “rock your smile” with guitar toothbrushes and 2 minutes of your favorite song! Moms and Dads left with goodies, too! FREE whitening. 🙂 Prizes were won, friendships were created, and proceeds totaling $4150.00 were donated to Dublin Bridges! They are a wonderful non-profit organization that identifies needs in our local community and works to fill them. BE THE GOOD!
Tonight our Team and BEST FRIENDS at Bridge Park Cid, Dave, Kyle, and Stacey entertained over 300 people at Brick House Blue for the Dublin Chamber event, The Brew Hop! Adults enjoyed different brews, desserts, and won prizes all in the name of giving back to the Dave Thomas Adoption Foundation. This community was able to raise a substantial amount for a cause that means so much to so many; we are honored to play a small part in that effort.
Dr. Saurer lives in Dublin and so excited to let you know that Bridge Park has it’s very own Farmer’s Market! Our team will be there each Saturday from 9a-12p to give out FREE River Park Dental insulated totes. Come find this happy trio!
Together as a team and individually we give back where we can. Our wonderful patient, Kelsea, is on the board for Student Success Stores and after reading what they provide to students right here in our community, we knew that we must stand behind them. Dr. Saurer sent our Practice Administrator, Ellen, with a car full of toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss to contribute to this cause. She spent the evening packing hygiene care kits and snack packs with a wonderful crowd. This event was humbling and a good reminder to give first.
Bridge Park is a community in and of itself. When Crawford Hoying decided to host a Blood Drive right in the heart of where we work and play we jumped for the opportunity to be involved. All donors were able to register for a chance to win custom whitening trays and gel from our practice. We took it a step further and decided to “walk it like we talk it” since Dr. Saurer and her Practice Administrator, Ellen, are both avid donors. They actually LOVE to compete to show the highest iron levels before each visit. Ellen won this round!
If you’d like to learn where you can donate and when, there’s an app for that. Learn more at the American Red Cross website. BE THE GOOD!
